Goldoni's iconic La Bottega del Caffe in Frano Čale's translation and adaptation of Dubrovnik dialect, which will be staged by director Paolo Tišljarić on Držićeva Poljana. At the Festival, Cafeteria was premiered by Tomislav Radić in 1978 on Gundulićeva Poljana as a play by the Marin Držić Theatre, and remained in the repertoire for a full ten years. Although its plot is set in a precise historical context, the focus will be on topicality, the vitality of comedy, irony, sharpness, manipulation of information.
