The young Croatian pianist, Jan Niković, who is also one of the most promising musicians of his generation, will enrich the music program at the Rector's Palace. A two-time winner of the 20th Ferdo Livadić International Young Musicians Competition and a 3rd place winner at the prestigious James Mottram International Piano Competition, Jan captivates with his unique blend of virtuosity, imagination and thoughtfulness. As a soloist, he has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the Zagreb Philharmonic, and his recitals at the Scriabin Museum in Moscow and the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg have also been noted.
